Privacy Policy

River Oaks Connects (“we”, “us”) is a homeowner-built community directory for the River Oaks neighborhood. We collect only what is necessary to run the directory and connect residents with trusted local vendors.

What we collect

• Account information (name, email) when you sign in.
• Recommendations you submit, including the vendor's contact information.
• Endorsements and reviews you write.
• Basic usage analytics to keep the site fast and reliable.

How we use it

• To verify resident status and approve community participation.
• To invite recommended vendors to join the platform.
• To display endorsements and reviews on vendor profiles.
• To send transactional and (with consent) community newsletter emails.
• To answer questions in the search assistant. Questions and vendor information (not neighbors' names) are sent to our AI provider to produce an answer.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not allow paid promotion or paid placement in the directory.
